President’s Message

I am pleased to announce that Kimberly Warrick, who heads our Client Services unit, has been asked to serve on the Governor Elect’s Transition Team for Energy & Environment.  We are thrilled that NJ SHARES has a seat at the table and we will be actively involved in working with Kim in this role.

NJ SHARES supporters inspire great work and I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you. I am proud that NJ SHARES is about to embark on its 20th heating season! That’s 20 years of assisting our neighbors during a crisis with their utility bills.

Since 1998, NJ SHARES has offered hope and delivered help to over 185,000 households. This amazing accomplishment was made possible by all of our donors, supporters, corporate and community partners and board members.  You, our generous supporters, help to illuminate the beacons of hope that our neighbors deserve in their time of need.

In this season of Thanksgiving, your support renews hopeAllow me to share a thank you we received recently :

“As my mother navigated the turbulent seas of grief once again, she tried to also get caught up on her household bills. When she received NJ SHARES assistance she felt that there was a light at the end of the tunnel and that there was some break in the dark clouds that had been overhead.  Please accept our thanks for your generosity, it was greatly appreciated!”Frances for her Mom Irene, 88
